Languages / Education

I started my career in 1987, and since 1997 I am working as a project manager, having managed large infrastructure programmes and projects with different technologies.

I am used to perform all the project functions (using structured methodologies), from planning and leadership to consulting and support in the technical implementation, documentation and training. I have built solid skills to communicate in multi-cultural and multi-language environments, essential when coordinating people and managing relationships with customers and suppliers over distance (Virtual Project Management). I am also experienced in linking IT, IS and business teams into high-performing collaborative environments.

My current career objectives are to continue improving my project management skills by building a method to help other Global Project Managers (see Research), by working in new technological frontiers (e.g. Expert Systems) and by managing business projects.
